“I had the pleasure to work with Dimitris during our time at Engine Yard where he led the EU Application Support team. In that function Dimitris' responsibility was to coordinate and partake in the Support team's efforts to assist Engine Yard's customers with running their deployments on the Engine Yard Cloud product. This requires a deep technical understanding of the product as well as the customers' deployments, with the ability to troubleshoot issues in a time-critical manner along with clear and precise communication skills. Dimitris excelled at these tasks and thus contributed heavily to Engine Yard's outstanding reputation for best-in-class customer support. Dimitris didn't stop there. He also took on the role of Release Manager for the Engine Yard Stack components. In this role he was responsible for coordinating with the Engineering and Product teams to plan the timeline and scope of releases. His deep knowledge of the Engine Yard Cloud product and the understanding of customer requirements allowed him to take an active role in the planning of the product's roadmap and the prioritisation of features. As Release Manager it was also his duty to ensure the quality and timeliness of each release. I am happy to say that Dimitris' high standards and his flawless execution in those regards have ensured that Engine Yard's stack releases have been on-time and with impeccable quality ever since he took on this role. As a result customers have reported overwhelmingly positive feedback. As a colleague Dimitris was always in good spirit and willingly lent a helping hand when one was in need. I enjoyed working with him immensely and I truly wish to get the opportunity to work with him again in the future.”
